1991-1994. IN THEIR OWN WORDS; A PORTRAIT OF THE HOMELESS
60-minute documentary. Cross-cut interviews of ten homeless people (60 Minutes-style)  discussing their backgrounds, drugs, alcoholism, police, society and life on the street, Santa Monica.  Circulated by The Hunger Project, Westside and Santa Monica's City Council.

1990.  GETTIN' UP THERE
Santa Monica City TV segment broadcast over six months.   Charles Younga (a 76-year-old yodeler) performs on talent night, and then tells of his background as a coal-miner in Virginia.  Produced by Santa Monica City TV.

MIDSUMMER AT THE MORGAN
In and around the rehearsal process during a community theatre's staging of Shakespeare's comedy "Midsummer Night's Dream," a love triangle develops within the cast.  Similar elements to that of FAME and SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE.

THE DOLPHIN BOY
When seventeen-year old Evan Daniels discovers a beached dolphin, his intuitive powers lead him to its mother at a local oceanarium.  When hired as a dolphin trainer, he learns the behind-the-scenes techniques of the popular show behaviors.  The writer was the first woman dolphin trainer at SeaWorld, San Diego.  Genre:  Coming-of-Age drama.
