Kathy
J. McCarthy is a member of the American Film Institute (AFI), The
Screen Actor's Guild (SAG), The American Federation of TV and Radio
Artists (AFTRA), A patron member of Women in Film (WIF), Film Independent
(FIND) and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF).
She has written a Drama genre screenplay now registered with the
WGA. As for her acting career Kathy is represented by Mademoiselle
Talent & Modeling Agency in West Los Angeles in both the Theatrical
Division for TV, Film, Music Videos and Tradeshows and the Commercial
Division for Commercials, Commercial Print and Modeling
She has honed her craft with top industry coaches and schools who
have worked with the following Actors: Robert De Niro, Marlon Brando,
Ashley Judd, Michelle Phiefer, Heather Grahm, James Franco, Scott
Caan, Sean Astin, Jim Carry, Halle Barry, Pierce Brosnan, and Heather
Locklear. She worked with friend and colleague Sean Astin in school
and during rehearsals. Sean is well known for his film roles in
"Goonies", "Rudy", and as Sam the Hobbit in
"Lord of The Rings". She also worked closely with friend
and colleague Lake Bell who currently stars in the Sci-Fi TV series
"Surface" on NBC. Kathy continues to study her technique
with one of the worlds top coaches.

Some of her credits include; Lead Model in Danny Aschkar's International
music video, aired in twenty-one countries around the world including
the United States and Canada. Kathy has been featured in the band
Switchfoot’s remake of the “Dare You To Move ”
Music Video on MTV. She's been in several commercials & industrials,
Guest Stared on "Anchor Today" with Lyn Ericson &
Co-Stared in "Not Another 80's Movie". She has been Featured
in some of the following Television shows such as: Ally McBeal,
Beverly Hills 90210, VH-1 (Meatloaf's Biography) and was also featured
in the following movies "Impostor" Starring: Gary Sinise,
Madeleine Stowe & Vincent D'Onofrio & "Intolerable
Cruelty Starring: George Clooney, Catherine Zeta Jones and Billy
Bob Thorton, in addition, she has worked on several Independent
Films with the American Film Institute with Supporting roles for
"Killing her Softly" and "Reflection". She is
also a regular cast member in LA's longest running production: "Welcome
Home Soldier". Her performance is on the first Saturday of
each month in Hollywood near Universal Studio's.

Producer / Founder Bio - Kathy McCarthy is a Producer, Director,

Attempting to reverse the devastating memories of his late father,
Eric, an AmerAsian graduate, assumes an identity to take back one
last year of college baseball. Along with Danny, another graduate
using an assumed identity, Eric battles his way onto the team, eying
the attention of the professional scouts. But along his journey,
he develops an unexpected, yet close connection with head Coach
Pierce, a man who still suffers from the heartbreaking loss of his
son.
Once Eric’s innocent friendship deepens with Coach Pierce’s
neice, Amy, all of his honesty, integrity, and loyalty grow severely
compromised. So he distances himself from Amy in an effort to deny
his mounting guilt. As the big Easter Tournament approaches, Eric
bonds with his closest rival, Tommy, and establishes himself as
a team leader through his relentless work ethic. However, he’s
alienated by both Danny and Amy, whose lives begin taking reckless
turns.
Already struggling through physical, emotional, and spiritual adversity,
Eric winds up on the same field opposite an enemy from his secretive
past. Now he is forced to watch Coach Pierce re-live his most tragic
loss, or play in a game that threatens to bring his career, and
his freedom, to an abrupt end.

film with Diva D Productions in support of the short comedy film;
The Amoeba.
The
Amoeba: Written by; Julia Flint and Directed by; Brian Wasiak, Staring:
David Mersault, Catharine Scott, Kevin Sateri, Julia Flint, Janine
Foster and Alan Heitz. The picture is a comedy following the life
of a woman who transforms herself as many different individuals
to escape the harsh reality of herself to fit in and become part
of the crowd. Shot entirely on digital video, this short film is
the result of a collection of talented film makers. More information
